No visit to Bangkok would be complete without the authentic canals and Khlongs, but I had no idea what to expect from the Bangkok Canal. I wasn’t sure if staying in Thailand for just one day was worth it, so I made several stops with a local guide who knows the best things to do in and around Bangkok to try traditional Chinese and Thai dishes. Sukumvit and Patpong have nightclubs and nightlife, and Rattanakosin is located in the old town of Bangkok, where you will find many of the city’s major attractions. Apart from the markets, many of Bangkok’s best shopping is concentrated in Siam Square and Old Bangkok, but there are also many other shopping opportunities in other parts of the city. The best place to try street food for the first time in Bangkok is the Thai Market, a popular tourist attraction in the heart of downtown Bangkok. Beyond the floating market, there are also a never-ending number of temples to visit, such as Chiang Mai, Phuket, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chonburi, Thammasat and Phnom Penh. Sources: 4, 10, 11

The floating market is a bit far away, but the area where the temples are located is about 100 km outside Bangkok. Boarding a long-tailed boat to explore one of Thailand’s attractions, Bangkok’s canals, is probably the most interesting thing to do in Bangkok, as it is located in the heart of the city and close to many of its attractions. The best market in Bangkok, which can be visited at the best prices, and one of the most popular markets in the world, is bowing to decay. Sources: 15

If you are in Bangkok for a weekend, be sure to visit the Thai market in Chulalongkorn, one of the city’s most popular markets, and without it your trip to Bangkok would be incomplete. Before visiting the modern shopping malls, you should visit the two traditional Thai markets, which are the first time you have to visit Thailand. The first place to visit in Bangkok is the neighboring Wat Pho, and I think this is one of the best places to see the ancient temples and temples of the city, such as Chulalongkorn, Phra Nakhon Ratchasima and Wat Chiang Mai, as well as the old town. Sources: 1, 3

If you have only a short trip, you can find a half-day sightseeing tour that includes some of the largest, which is a great way to get through everything in one day as it is an easy visit and takes in many cultural sights of Thailand.
