Something Long And Complicated visits Krn, Slovenia 🇸🇮

If you are planning a camping or road trip to Slovenia, we have three major attractions that you can explore with your camper under the travel radar. If you are an adventurer – a born tourist or just looking for a less crowded place for your holiday in Slovenia, then Lake Bohinj is the perfect choice. Just half an hour’s walk away is one of the country’s most popular tourist attractions, the beautiful and beautiful lake. Sources: 2, 4, 6

The lake is surrounded by the Julian Alps and the crystal clear water reflects the huge mountains like a mirror, a magical place indeed. As you can see, the lake borders the mountain range and is surrounded by huge mountain peaks and mountains. Sources: 1, 4

In the Slovenian capital Ljubljana you can take a bus from Kobarid to Kobariden in 3 hours or of course you can take a bus to the city of Kranj, where the state border is located. As mentioned before, you can reach the Soca Valley (also in Italy), but this still means that you have to walk all the way and walk a long way. Sources: 5, 12

If you are looking for other wonderful Slovenian mountain trails, I would recommend an alternative hike south of the Triglav Park. As the area is rich in waterfalls and canyons, we decided to hike to a nearby waterfall on the way to the mountains. If you are looking for it, the pizza is there for you and we suggest you take it from the Hotel Alpine shortly after you have driven down the Mangart Street and eat it at the top. Mountain huts and good food are also available in the Mangarts saddle, so you can fly from Ljubljana to Kobarid in 3 hours or drive south to Kranj in 2 hours and 30 minutes. Sources: 3, 6, 8, 13

Again, the amount of water depends on the season, but the best time to see Boka is usually in spring. There are many beautiful attractions in the area, including Curk, a beautiful waterfall in the Soca Valley, and a few other waterfalls and canyons. If you can’t drive to the SocA valley and see none, there are also bokas in Kranj, which makes it a great destination for those who can, and also for hikers. Sources: 3, 10, 12

The Pohorje Trail starts at the Church of St. Bolfenk, which can be reached from Maribor on foot or by cable car. There is no parking near the waterfall, although it is only a 5 – 10min walk up the mountain. From here, turn right and follow the road that leads to the village and park in the free parking lot where the trail begins. There is free parking (no fees), but there is an official hiking route in Slovenia, which can be found on the internet at this information point and is well marked with the hiking time and the level of difficulty. First you cross Lake Bohinj by boat and then you will see the third most visited attraction in Slovenia. If you want to take a day off from flying, be sure to visit the spectacular limestone caves and read this blog to find out what activities you can do there. Sources: 1, 4, 8

The starting and finishing point of your adventure will be the international airport of Venice, Italy, located in the south of the country, just a few kilometers from the city of Ljubljana. Slovenia is an alpine country and famous for its mountains, lakes and beautiful scenery. Sources: 8

Further south than in other parts of the Alps, Slovenia is home to a number of iconic glacial valleys, some of which can be felt in the form of glaciers, lakes, mountains and seaside resorts. The most popular tourist destinations in Slovenia, such as Ljubljana, Zagreb, Kranjska Gora and Zadar, are also a great place to have fun. Sources: 8, 9

On the way down from the Mangartpass, stop for a while and enjoy the spectacular view of the Alps and the beautiful mountain range to the east. From the Karavanke mountains, you reach the top of a steep hill, on which the Julian Alps rise to the sky. Sources: 0, 7

This emerald masterpiece is a natural monument that starts from the Vrsic Pass and makes its way through many secret canyons and valleys surrounded by breathtaking features. Most of the area is covered by the Triglav National Park, with the exception of a small part of the Karavanke Mountains and some small villages. Sources: 6, 8

The Soca Valley can be reached via the Vrsic Pass and Lake Krn – the Saw Valley in the north – west of the Triglav National Park. Sources: 11

Dreznica is surrounded by mountainous hills, meadows, streams and waterfalls, and is therefore the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Slovenian nature. This location is located in the front part of the Julian Alps, which makes it experience a Mediterranean climate and is capable of flying, although the surrounding deep mountains are overdeveloped. You will be rewarded without a drop of sweat or a touch of fear when climbing, climbing and climbing. Sources: 3, 6, 8
